Outside Sales Representative
We're a leader in the supply of industrial control and factory automation products, electric motors, predictive maintenance services, and the repair of electrical apparatus.
You will be responsible for leading the relationship between Mielke Electric Works and our customers here in beautiful northern Minnesota. This would include providing excellent customer service for new and existing customers by providing solutions, managing projects, and providing information on products and services. In addition, to identify new business opportunities and establish new customer relationships. The majority of our customers are end users in the ferrous and nonferrous mining industries, utility industry, transportation industries, and in the forest products industry.
The outside sales role plays a crucial role in supporting our purpose of creating lasting value for those we serve by directly managing the customer relationship and being a liaison between the business and the customer. The outside sales representative is focused on establishing and growing customer relationships and coordinate sales. This individual will make daily personal visits to customer locations to demonstrate products, discuss projects and maintain personal and professional relationships.
As one of our representatives, you will work with a talented team of inside and outside sales people, product specialists, and transactional support personnel. Mielke is a distributor for major electrical brands including Rockwell Automation. You will work closely with the Mielke team and suppliers to promote our product lines and support our customers in Northwestern Wisconsin and Northern Minnesota.
- Five years experience in sales is preferred
- Minimum of two year degree or equivalent experience required; Four year degree preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience required
- Electrical and automation product knowledge is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
